A Personal Note From Fletch

You have found my personal website, podcast, blog and the international headquarters for theMangoTimes. For those that have been around since 1995...thanks for sticking around! If you’re new, you’re in for a ride.

For new visitors, take some time to read a few blog entries, listen to a few podcast episodes, check out a few pictures, and  ask yourself if this is really the corner of the internet that you should spend your time.

theMangoTimes has survived for more than 30 years. This is where I write, talk, and laugh about what it means to be human - when faith, politics, work, and family all collide in hilarious (and sometimes uncomfortable) ways. I try my best to include some of that humor with you here. I may occasionally nudge (or accidentally topple a few of your “sacred cows”). That’s never my intent, but since friends and family are among my readers, let me apologize in advance if anything here offends.

To put it simply…I am quietly making noise!

In the meantime, I’m just a coffee-drinking, dog-walking, pipe-smoking, mountain-hiking, motorcycle-riding, God-seeking, tooth-grinning dentist who believes in staying positive. So grab a cup of coffee, light your pipe if that’s your thing, and settle in. Read a few posts. Listen to a podcast episode. Maybe laugh, maybe think…maybe both.
