On my iPod - Artists Beginning with "H"

Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass - A Taste of Honey - Whenever I hear this song I picture my dad's old hi-fi set up in the family room playing vinyl records. This song and Spanish Flea (theme to "The Dating Game") are pure 60's fun.

Hank Williams, Sr. - I Saw the Light- I downloaded this song off iTunes because I remember watching Johnny Cash sing it in an episode of Columbo...but there is no recording of Cash singing it...drats! Hank's version is not too bad!

Hootie and the Blowfish- Only Wanna Be With You- A few years ago I won some tickets at Rotary to hear Hootie in Downtown Modesto. kenj and heather ended up going and enjoying a fun summer concert. His music always reminds me of college life.

Harry Belafonte - Jump in the Line - you might remember it from the end of the movie "Beetlejuice." Great little Caribbean tune that gets the mangokids jumping and dancing when we do the dishes at night.

    Quietly making noise,
    Fletch

I love Herb Alpert and the Tijana Brass! And for just about the same reasons, too. But it was the Christmas album that we'd listen to every year as we trimmed the tree that planted itself firmly in my heart...

What...no HALO or HL Tapley? HA!

Nice new digs...looking forward to keeping up with the Mango Times at the new location.

Hootie and college days for me too. I never saw him in concert, didn't ever buy any of his CDs but I always cranked it up on the radio (driving through the corn fields of central Illinois, with the windows down and the veins popping out on my neck). I also loved his appearance on Letterman.
