Quietly, Quietly, Quietly Making Noise…since 1995

A Personal Welcome From Fletch

avatar Welcome to theMangoTimes!

You have found my blog and the international headquarters for theMangoTimes. For those that have been around since the beginning, this is a whole new look for theMT, but let me assure you…I’m still at the helm of this sinking ship. Hopefully this new venture will be easier for me to manage – we’ll see how it goes! I’ve tried to make this blog super easy to navigate, so take some time to look around. Feel free to also drop a comment for me – I love to find out who is actually reading my silly words!

theMangoTimes has survived for more than ten years, but my goal here is to simply comment and reflect on our day to day experiences on this wacky planet. Our world is a very funny place, especially when we consider how politics, religion and personal experiences often collide. I try my best to include some of that routine humor with you here. I fully understand that I may occasionally destroy someone’s “sacred cows.” That is not my intent, but with many friends and family members reading my words I want to apologize in advance if any of my personal thoughts, comments, or opinions on this site, offend you. Say this out loud with me: “This is theMangoTimes…Fletch is just making fun of the situation…he’s not making fun of me or telling me i’m wrong, stupid, or ugly.” To put it quite simply…Fletch is quietly making noise

Enjoy it for what it is, a snapshot into the life of one God fearing, Christ loving, wife smooching, chicken chasing, dog loving, wine drinking, schwinn cruising, vw driving, jimmy buffett listening, tooth grinning dentist and homeschooling dad!

Quietly making noise,
Fletch

  2. Wow. I like this a lot. I’ve got to pass you on to my husband. He’s very famous in a “cool, fairytale” sort of way. You’ll see. But I might hang around a bit myself off and on…

  3. Deb, thanks for dropping by theMT, you and your fairytale husband are welcome to enjoy the fun we have here.

  4. Hey Fletch, I enjoyed being in your home this evening. It was great fun. The Troaster is a good musician, a thoughtful guy. It was a nice evening to spend with my wife and a good bit of music to share with my children. Thanks. We are all now fans of J. Troast. Also, keep up the work on the MT. Keep living bold, free, honest and for God’s honor and glory. And I’d like to introduce you to Black Butte Porter, some time. And I’d like to taste your favorite porter, eh?
