Facebook, Part 4 - The Phenomenon

This really isn't a part four, because I had nothing to do with this video other than to link to it. I just wanted to include it as an addendum to what I had already said on the topic of facebook.

Anyhow, a friend of mine linked to this video on facebook this morning (click on photo)...

Sure...they don't support any of their statistics in the video, but I think we all generally agree that social media is not a fad anymore. (Sheesh! My 78 year old mother updates her facebook page regularly. I think this continues to support my initial point...social media is here...we can choose to engage it or ignore it.

    Quietly Making Noise,
    Fletch

Fletch, your mother is only "76". How come i know your age and you forgot mine? Dad is 78!!! And oh yes, I never lie about my age, I tell it like it is

Cookster...good catch, that's just what I would expect from a 76 year old...

Andy, you have been avoiding me all night on Facebook. Your wife and your best friend's wife have been talking to me but not you. Come and visit when you wake up.

Great video Andy, but you know not everything happens on social networks. There are lots of people in New Zealand who would like Kendra to come out here in person for a Preschoolers and Peace conference. Take a look at Facebook...

    Hear hear Barbara,
Hi Andy, I'm another little Kiwi who would love you and your lovely wife to visit NZ!
You can blame facebook for this :-)

It all started with Tulips in bloom in New Zealand at the moment.

    Hi Andy
Oh I agree, I am yet another kiwi who would love to see you and Kendra come over.
My kids would love to meet the reason behind the moments while reading your blog, that I am laughing too hard to tell them what I am laughing about!
