theMT Recommendations - February 2007
Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 10:36AM
It's been a few months, but I am back at it:
Connecticut - I travelled to New England in the first part of February. I had the luxury of being in a rural portion of the state - absolutely beautiful! I even came home with a quart of maple syrup.
Teaching Textbooks - you can link there from here. I could not be more pleased with this curriculum. My oldest has been using it for algebra and it's been terrific.
The Wild Wild West - old sixties tv show with Robert Conrad. We've been getting it from netflix. He does a lot of smoochin' so the boys get a little freaked out, but his gadgetry is perfect for the 10-12 crowd.
Mac - I'm sold out thanks to sven. By far the better option...look for yourself.
Quietly making noise,
Fletch

Glad you like love your Mac. I love mine, too, and I just had to share the love. Now it's up to you and me to bring the rest of the world to the reality of better computing.
ultimately the question is "wwju"...what would jesus use? in the center of eden was a tree with really good fruit...it's often been characterized as an apple...coincidence? i think not...
Fletch! You are too funny!
I am actually LOLing. I rarely ever do that.
And Sven, he doesn't "like love" his Mac, he "love loves" it.
i notice you used the name "Liz R"...which is essentially one syllable away from the nickname i've been using for you...lizard...because i do pronounce it to rhyme with "yard"...even throwing on a french accent.
