Yes, yes, yes…we’re the family that skips Christmas cards and sends them out on the 4th of July! That way we are the only ones on your refrigerator. The one at the top is the official photo of the year (check your mailbox for the print version, due out this week), but below we have a few of our outtakes:

That is an excellent picture of all of you!
(Mark wants to know why Kendra is in the picture with the girls but you’re not with your boys/men?)
I could almost do a happy dance right now that I get to meet all of you.

Yeah, the photographer never gets in the picture, it’s a tradition. At my funeral there will be pictures of me in kindergarten and then wedding pictures.
I’m not sure what the “happy dance” is, but your visit is already being planned on our end…food, drinks, music, discussions…the only thing missing will be large cardboard castles/piratey things…
Well, Kendra is so cute it’s a given she should be in *every* picture.
And there’s not an actual happy dance. Just figuratively.
Can’t wait. Wish our guys/families could come, too. I’m just certain we’d all hit it off so well. We’ll test it out this next month and if all goes well we’ll have to make plans for Trip #2.

Such a lovely family (I’m missing reading Kendra’s blog, but I know everyone needs a vacation and I did take her advice~I’m headed to the beach with my family for the first time ever today! Oklahoma is sort of land locked…not many beaches, so we had to travel several hundred miles to get to a beach, but here we are!).
So thankful for that healthy picture of Mighty Joe! Praising God with you for his full recovery!
