halfdome – january 2008
my mom’s sister from georgia (i call her aunt grace, and have recently found out that she lets her dog live in the house)has been visiting us for the past two weeks. yesterday we had the opportunity to take her up to yosemite for a close-up of the beauty and majesty of God’s creative power. we also made a trip to the ahwahnee hotel for big bowls of hot soup.
i realize many people who come to california will spend their time visiting the cities or the beaches or disneyland, but to visit the west coast and skip yosemite is a major loss for those wanting to see true sights and wonders. below are a few snapshots from yesterday, click on the thumbnail for the full size picture.

Beautiful shots of Half-Dome. Having never been to Yosemite is the sheared portion of Half-Dome lying somewhere down below?
I WAS BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO ACCOMPANY DR. FLETCH ON THE TRIP TO YOSEMITE. I WAS IN AWE OF THE BEAUTY OF GODS HANDIWORK. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE IT…NEVER HAVE SEEN ANYTHING QUITE AS BEAUTIFUL….OH OTHER THAN MY YORKIE/POO AND BEST FRIEND BENTLEY, WHO DOES SLEEP WITH ME, AND YES HE LIVES IN THE HOUSE WITH ME AND IS ALWAYS HAPPY TO SEE ME, DOES NOT TALK BACK AND TRULY AGREES WITH EVERYTHING I SAY!! HE WAS A RESCUE DOG AND EVERY BONE IN HIS BODY COULD BE FELT WHEN I BEGAN TO NURSE HIM BACK TO HEALTH……….HE IS TRULY ONE OF THE BRIGHT SPOTS IN MY LIFE………….
I LOVE YOU ANYWAY MY PRECIOUS NEPHEW…..EVEN THOUGH WE DON’T AGREE…WHEN YOU COME TO GA FOR A VISIT, I KNOW BENTLEY WILL ASK TO SLEEP WITH YOU……
