theMangoTimes has taken another quick trip to Southern California for a few days of pirates, honey-pots and Tomorrowland adventure. This was just a trip for the two oldest Mangoboys…they had two full days of scouring Walt’s place, jumping between the Magic Kingdom and California Adventure. We had a great time together with a lot of laughs…our guys had a great time together and the two of us felt like we were on an extended date with time to stroll and enjoy the warm sunshine (and churros!). One interesting note is the large amount of overheard crying and whining from kids that weren’t quite getting what they wanted (so much for the happiest place on earth?).

“Where is Alice?”

“Avast ye Scurvy Scum!”

“the happiest place on earth” I was struck by that thought too when we went to the magic kingdom a few months ago. Every where you go there are screaming little ones and I heard more than one mom ranting to a pre teen or teenager about how ungrateful they were.
Glad you had fun!
The happiest place on earth for me is Incline Village, North Lake Tahoe, with my family on a secluded beach. Me digging a “mini-Lake Tahoe” for the kids to jump in and then me jumping into the real thing. Couple that with a nice cold beer at the Hacienda Mexican Restaurant we love. Yup that’s it for me. No screaming brats, er, kids and no let down from the hype (sorry, no coasters with loops equals kidieland…not for the serious folk.)
Fletch, did you use the Canon on these shots, you Rebel?
si…that was the rebel…without the superduper telephoto lens that makes me look like an endzone photographer at the sf niners games…
